Donna Heck Obituary
Donna R. (Kennedy) Heck, 88, of Lock Haven passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport.
She was born in Mill Hall on July 3, 1930, the daughter of the late Dewey and Grace Merrill Kennedy.
On September 15, 1951 in Lock Haven, Donna married Arthur M. Heck, Sr., whom preceded her in death on August 23, 2003.
Donna worked at Sylvania Electric and as a housekeeper at the Fallon Hotel before becoming a homemaker.
She was a member of the Flemington First Church of Christ.
Donna had a passion for playing bingo and enjoyed cooking, especially for her family during the holidays and for their weekly Sunday gatherings. Most of all, she simply loved spending her time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Donna is survived by a daughter, Belinda J. (Ronald) Yandell of Lock Haven; two grandchildren, Brandi Seymour of Hershey and Derek Heck of Avis; two great-grandchildren, Devin Yandell and Madison Seymour; a niece, Pam Workman; two nephews, Alfred and Alan Chapman; as well as other nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Arthur M. Heck, Jr.; and five siblings, Betty Kennedy, James Kennedy, Marjorie Chapman, Joyce Workman and Robert Kennedy.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745 with Rev. Mark Riley officiating. Private burial will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Clinton County SPCA.
