Doris F. Peddigree

Doris F. Peddigree, 68, of Lock Haven passed away Thursday, November 14, 2019 at her home.

Born November 12, 1951 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of Boyd R. and Doris I. Brownlee Kreamer.

Doris was a 1969 graduate of Lock Haven High School.

On April 1, 1972, she married Torrence A. Peddigree with whom she celebrated 47 years of marriage.

Together with her husband, she owned and operated D & T Snacks. Doris also was employed by the Department of Labor & Industry from where she retired.

Doris was a long-time member of Dunnstown United Methodist Church, being involved in various ministries including Bible Study.

She was also a member of the Pennsylvania Blind and Handicapped Association.

She enjoyed reading, going on cruises and vacationing in Florida. Most cherished, though, was the time spent with family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, TJ (Tami) Peddigree of Jersey Shore and Rich (Alecia) Peddigree of Camp Hill; her brother, Richard (Gloria) Kreamer of Seattle, WA; two sisters, Amy Nickerson of Etters and Lois (Greg) Peddigree of Lock Haven; and her three grandchildren: Dylen Styers, Cambrea Styers and Hunter Swartz.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Boyd Kreamer and sister, Andrea Hackenberg.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at 2 P.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, Pa 17745. Interment will follow at Dunnstown Cemetery.

Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12 Noon until the time of the service.

Memorial contributions in Doris’ name may be made to Dunnstown United Methodist Church through the funeral home.
