Jonquil Johns Obituary
Jonquil B. Johns, 84, of Mill Hall, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at her residence.
She was born in Williamsport on September 10, 1934, the daughter of the late Amos W. and Kathryn Kurtz Ball.
Jonquil was a 1952 graduate of South Williamsport High School.
On July 16, 1955, at the Duboistown United Methodist Church, she married Robert D. Johns, who preceded her in death on July 15, 1984.
Jonquil was a member of the Mackeyville United Methodist Church.
Jonquil is survived by four children, Raymond D. (Janice) Johns of Bayboro, NC, Carol Ann (Terry) Williams of Mill Hall, Teresa L. (Steve Crawford) Johns of Philipsburg, and Kathryn A. Johns of Richmond, VA; a sister, Arlene Frey of South Williamsport; five grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Vaughn Ball.
Also special to her were her loving, dedicated caregivers Barbara, Susan, Angel and Christina.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Interment will take place at Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Duboistown United Methodist Church.
