Kathryn “Kate" Ruth Walker, 92, of Greenville, Pennsylvania, passed peacefully at home, January 6th, 2019.
Born in Lock Haven on October 5th, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Grenoble) Sterrett.
Kate attended Lock Haven area schools and after high school, attended Williamsport Community where she studied drafting and after graduating, began working for Piper Aircraft during World War II.

Kate enjoyed quilting, knitting, crocheting and showing off her latest deals from a garage sale or thrift store. Her children, grandchildren and great-grand children were the light of her life and she carried so much love in her heart for all of them.
Kate was preceded in death by her mother and father, Robert and Helen Sterrett, and sister, Jean (Sterrett) Miller.
She is survived by sons, David (Etta) Walker, Samuel (Sally) Walker, James (Kathy) Walker, Margaret and William; 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
