Linnie Brumgard Obituary
Linnie L. Brumgard, 72, of McElhattan passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Jersey Shore Manor Care.
Born October 16, 1946 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of Michael Caprio and Daisy Slovich.
She was a 1964 graduate of Lock Haven High School.
On February 28, 1968 she married Willard “Jake” Brumgard with whom she celebrated 50 years of marriage.
Linnie was employed by Wise Chiropractic in Lock Haven as a therapist until her retirement.
She enjoyed the outdoors, especially tinkering with flowers and cutting grass. Linnie was an avid housekeeper and could often be found taking care of others.
In addition to her husband, Jake Brumgard of McElhattan, she is survived by her son, Willard “Will” (Julie) Brumgard, Jr. of Illinois; two grandchildren, Tanner (Amanda) and Shaun Brumgard; her father and step-mother, Michael and Judy Caprio of Lock Haven; her mother, Daisy Slovich of Lock Haven; a brother, Michael Caprio of Mill Hall; and a sister, Lori Callahan of Lock Haven.
She was preceded in death by her step-father, Joseph Slovich.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.
