Patsy Williams Obituary
Patsy B. Williams, 86, of Mill Hall passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018 at her home.
Born May 29, 1932 in St. Paul, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Elsie Hyden Bartee.
Patsy was a graduate of St. Paul High School where she played basketball.
She was married to Dean A. Williams who survives in Mill Hall.
Patsy was employed by the National Security Agency before working at Weldon Pajama Factory in Williamsport for 9 years. After working at Champion Parts for a brief time, together with her husband, she ran Williams’ Woodcrafts.
She was a member of God’s Eternal Life Church in Dunnstown.
Patsy enjoyed attending the Card Club with her friends from church. She also liked to dance and do word search puzzles.
In addition to her husband, Dean A. Williams, she is survived by two children, Vicki (Jim) Barner and Robert W. (Sherry) Gregory, both of Lock Haven; four step-sons: Dean Williams, Jr. of Connecticut, whom she helped raised, Jim (Darlene) Williams of Mill Hall, Jeff Williams of Salona and Scott Williams of Centre Hall; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and a special friend, Dawn Bertin of Flemington.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Gregory, in 1984; two children, Melissa and Tammy Gregory; a step-daughter, Deanna Williams, whom she helped raise; and four siblings: Dukes, Jeanette, Howard and Joanne Bartee.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 7 P.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington with her husband, Pastor Dean A. Williams, and Pastor Jeannie Brickley officiating. Private burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 5 P.M. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Patsy’s name may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
