Ruth Runk Obituary
Ruth Ann Runk, 71, of Avis passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at her home.
Born June 19, 1947 in Lock Haven, she was a daughter of the late Robert E. and Betty White Johnson.
Ruth was a graduate of Lock Haven High School.
She was employed by Brodart in Williamsport.
Ruth’s passion was collecting recipes and baking- which she was quite good at.
Surviving are three children: Katherine (Gene “Butch”) Knarr of South Carolina, Michael (Michelle) Johnson of Tylersville and William “Bill” (Cynthia) Johnson of South Carolina; six siblings: Peg, Bobby, Steve, Jim (Peg), Susan and Mike Johnson; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Johnson.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 2 until 4 P.M. at the Moriarty Funeral Home & Crematory, 112 E. Church St., Lock Haven.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ruth’s name may be made to the American Heart Association through the funeral home.
