Sandra L. Renzo, 79, of Dogwood Drive, Lock Haven passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, March 17, 2019.
She was born in Greenburr, PA on July 18, 1939 to Martin A. and Thelma Welshans Douty. Sandra was united in marriage on October 26, 1957 to Francis A. Renzo who survives.
Sandra raised four children while working at Hammermill Paper Company for fifteen years. After nine years working at Widmann’s Warehouse, she retired in 1999.
Sandra enjoyed fishing at “camp” in Towanda, PA, cooking for her family and spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. Family meant everything to Sandra. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was a gentle soul who always saw the best in every person. The love she shared will continue to grow through the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are two daughters and two sons, Cheryl (Larry) Moran of The Villages, Florida, Tracy Renzo of Lock Haven, PA, Shawn Renzo of Olmstead Falls, Ohio, and Zane (Krista) Renzo of Lock Haven; seven grandchildren, Trevor Reeder, Kaycie Sisowath, Samuel Renzo, Keith Schmidt, Henry Renzo, Gianna Renzo, and James Renzo; three great grandchildren, Kaydan Sisowath, Aurora Reeder, and Mason Sisowath.
Sandra’s Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Sugar Valley Community Company Fire Hall, 24 West Anthony St. Loganton, PA, 17747.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Sandra’s name to Susquehanna Health Home Care and Hospice, 1100 Grampian Boulevard, PA 17701.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Moriarty Funeral Home and Crematory, 112 E. Church St., Lock Haven.
