Sheila Eggler Obituary
Sheila A. Eggler, 63, of 621 Little Plum Run Rd., Lock Haven, passed away on Monday, November 26, 2018 at her home.
She was born in Lock Haven on January 7, 1955, the daughter of the late Albert E. and Ruth A. McCaslin Myers.
Sheila was a 1973 graduate of Lock Haven High School.
On July 31, 1982 in New York, she married Frank A. Eggler, whom survives.
Sheila worked in retail throughout her life, eventually owning and operating Merry Go Round Women & Children’s Boutique in Jersey Shore.
Sheila was a weather enthusiast, enjoyed entertaining and socializing (especially over a Busch Light) and liked going for rides up the Pine Creek valley. Most of all, Sheila loved her time with her family, especially their trips to the beach.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Adam Eggler of Woolrich; a daughter, Sara Eggler of Lamar; a brother, George (Sissy) Myers of Lamar; two sisters, Bessie (Charles) Schreckengast of Mill Hall and Linda Myers of Florida; four grandchildren, Aden and Kearston Eggler and Kyle and Emily Myers; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Steven A. Myers; and three siblings, William, Sandra and Gregory Myers.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 4p.m. at the Woolrich United Methodist Church, 1080 Park Ave., Woolrich, PA 17779.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the American Cancer Society.
