Alice Hadesty Obituary
Alice J. Hadesty, 95, of Mill Hall passed away at home on May 8, 2021.
Born in New Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Nell Wassel. She was a graduate of Blythe Township High School. In 1947 she married Robert A. Hadesty and moved to Tamaqua, Pa. She worked for the Atlas Powder Company Reynolds Plant, PA. In 1954 the family moved to Lancaster, Pa. She worked at Stauffer Printing Company, Lancaster for 30 years until retiring in 1991.
She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Lancaster.
Alice was a loving wife and mother. She had a passion for music and entertained family and friends with her talent.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert and her brother, Thomas.
Surviving are; two daughters: Donna, married to Mr. Les Foltz of Lititz and Nancy, married to Mr. Terry Sheetz of Mill Hall; a son, Mark, married to Pamela Moore Hadesty of Florida; eight grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
