Anna Mae Garbrick Obituary

Anna Mae Garbrick, 88, of 1344 East End Mountain Rd., Mill Hall was welcomed into the loving arms of her Lord on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at UPMC Lock Haven Hospital.

Born March 19, 1931 in Rote, she was a daughter of the late George and Hazel (Kramer) Stover.

Anna Mae was a graduate of the Lamar Township School.

In 1951 she married Richard G. Garbrick with whom she shared over 60 years of marriage before his passing in 2012.

Anna Mae was known as a hard worker at Island Poultry Farm, Salona where she became a supervisor before her retirement.

She was a lifelong and devoted member of Wright Street Church of Christ, Flemington.

Anna Mae enjoyed gardening and cooking. Most special to her, though, was the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are two sons, David R. (Jackie) Garbrick and Larry J. (Christine) Garbrick, both of Mill Hall; two grandchildren, Joseph R. Garbrick and Ashley Mae Garbrick; two step-grandchildren, Emily Wright and Katelyn (Josh) Glunk; her great granddaughter, Addison Marie Garbrick; and a step-great granddaughter, Fiona Fourney.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by several brothers as well as her sister and best friend, Jessie G. Stover.

Private services will be held by her family. Interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions in Anna Mae’s name may be made to the Wright Street Church of Christ through the funeral home.
