Bernard Manion Obituary

Bernard J (Ben) Manion, 83, of Mill Hall, died May 8th, 2022 at Haven Place, Lock Haven, PA.
Born March 25, 1939 in Cambria County, son of George Manion and Irene (Molnar) Manion. He was married to Loretta F. Greninger on May 15, 1965. She preceded him in death on July 19, 2004. He was a 1957 graduate of Central Cambria High School. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church. He was employed by Hammermill Paper Company for 17 years and retired from Lock Haven University after 22 years of service.
He is survived by daughter Heather (Brad) C. Lloyd; twin granddaughters Kiersten and Gwendolyn of Red Lion; sister, Elaine Young of Johnstown; and sister, Jane (William) O'Donnell of Stephens City, Virginia. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, Margaret Manion of Culpepper, VA and Eunice Bowersox (Marlan) of Spring Mills, PA as well as close friends, Tawnya and Martin Salinas and family of Mackeyville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Manion; sister, Harriet Rematt; brother-in-law, Fred Young; step-father, Michael Donch; and mother-in-law, Mildred Greninger.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Lock Haven with the Rev. Father Joseph Orr officiating. At Ben's request, all services will be private at the convenience of the family. Private interment will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ben's name may be made to St. Agnes Catholic Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Moriarty Funeral Home & Crematory, 112 E. Church St., Lock Haven.
