Beverly Renninger Obituary
Beverly J. Renninger, 87, of Mill Hall, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at UPMC Lock Haven Hospital.
Born February 26, 1935 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Sayres Cox.
Beverly was a 1953 graduate of Lock Haven High School where she was a member of the cheerleading team and participated in the annual Purple Whirl.
She had different jobs throughout her life, including retail, waitressing and insurance secretary before retiring from Lock Haven University's Bentley Hall where she was loved by all the students of whom all called "Mom."
Beverly was known for fun loving ways. She enjoyed watching football, taking care of her flowers and plants, and sitting outside with her friends and family, especially her best friend and neighbor, Shirley Tennerilla. Beverly loved people - making friends wherever she went. She always instilled to her children to be kind to everyone you meet.
She was a wonderful and loving grandmother to seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She will also be sadly missed by her four children, Michelle (Bear) Anderson of Lock Haven, Jimmy Renninger of Mill Hall, Sharon (Dan) Villelo of Beech Creek and Thomas Smith of Mill Hall; and her sister, Janet "Weets" (William) Karch of Beech Creek.
Private services for Beverly will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745.
