Dale English, 92, formerly of 301 High St., Flemington, passed away on July 21, 2026 at home in Wyalusing, Pennsylvania.
He was born in Avis on October 11, 1933, the son of the late Clayton Warren and Josephine McCracken English.
Dale was a 1951 graduate of Jersey Shore High School. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during the Korean War.
He worked at Piper Aircraft for 24 Years until the Lock Haven plant closed. Then he was a foreman for Hoy and Harger Construction along with Harger Utilities until he retired.
He was a member of Bald Eagle Beagle Club, Pennsylvania State Coyote and Fox Hunters Association and the Lock Haven American Legion Post 131.
Dale raced a late model at Selinsgrove and Williams Grove Speedways in the 1960's and early 70s. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting deer and bear out of the Little Pine Camp in Tioga County, along with fishing and running his foxhounds and beagles. He competed with his foxhounds in field trials from Georgia to Ontario, Canada.
He is survived by his wife, Jean, with whom he shared 59 years of marriage; and son, Richard.
Dale was preceded in death by his mother and father.
A funeral service will be held at the discretion of the family at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, Pa. 17745. Private burial will be held at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven.
