Gerald Smith Obituary
Gerald L. Smith, 100, of Lock Haven went home to his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at UPMC Haven Place.
He was born February 1, 1921 in Lock Haven. In his early years, he worked at Piper Aircraft before joining the Military and serving his country in both WWII and the Korean War.
After returning home, he worked for Hammermill Paper Co. until retiring in 1986.
He was a member of First Baptist Church, Lock Haven, for many years.
Gerald was very proud that he reached his 100th birthday.
He was a kind and gentle man with a great sense of humor.
He loved the years he spent at Kephart Plaza and will be missed by the many friends he had there.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 22, 2021 at 2 P.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, Pa 17745 with Pastor Doug Packard officiating. Private burial will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall.
Memorial contributions in Gerald’s name may be made to either First Baptist Church or the Clinton County SPCA through the funeral home.
