Harold L. Grieb, 87, of Flemington passed away Monday, August 3, 2026 at UPMC Haven Place.
Born October 4, 1938 in Lock Haven, he was the son of the late Maurice and Marie "Betty" (Adams) Grieb.
Harold was a 1958 graduate of Lock Haven High School.
He proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.
On November 20, 1965, he married the former Dorothy A. Gardner with whom he shared 58 years of marriage before her passing in 2024.
Harold was employed in the maintenance department at the Hammermill Paper Co., retiring after 40 years.
He was a member of Flemington First Church of Christ.
Harold enjoyed riding motorcycle, bowling, and doing jigsaw puzzles. He was also a talented wood carver who was known for his Yip Stick.
Surviving are his children, Vicki (Kerry) Stover of Flemington and Mark Grieb of Lock Haven; a sister, Lois (Glenn) Haagen of Mechanicsburg; two grandchildren, Kara and Hunter (Brooke) Stover; and two great granddaughters, Hazel and Wrenley Stover.
In addition to his parents and wife, Dorothy Grieb, he was preceded in death by a son, Howard Grieb and brothers, Edward and John Grieb.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026 at 11 AM at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington with Rev. Mark Riley officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 10 AM until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions in Harold's name may be made to Flemington First Church of Christ through the funeral home.
