James Morgan, Jr., a resident of Mill Hall, has peacefully passed away on May 12, 2023, at the age of 82 at The Gatehouse of UPMC Divine, Williamsport during his final moments. James was born on July 4, 1940, in Arkansas to his late parents, James and Clara Smith Morgan.
James was deeply in love with Patricia Aungst, whom he married on Feb. 2, 1963. They spent 51 wonderful years together before Patricia's passing in 2015. James moved to Pennsylvania, where he worked in the cable industry for numerous companies, including AT&T, Adelphia, and Cox.
James was a lifetime member of The Moose, where he served as governor. He will be deeply missed by his surviving family members, including his son and daughter-in-law, James and Elizabeth Morgan of Arizona; his sister, Jackie Farley of Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Natasha Sutton, James Lee Morgan, and Xenesha Patricia Blackburn; and four great-grandchildren, Jasmine and Brealyn Sutton, Leo Morgan, and Elijah Blackburn.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park, 47 Rest Haven Drive, Lock Haven, PA 17745. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to Children of the Moose, c/o Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745.
