Joan Hamel Kinley, 76, of Lock Haven passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at UPMC Susquehanna, Williamsport.
Born December 11, 1944 in Jersey Shore, she was a daughter of the late Nelson R. and Ruth M. (Campbell) Hamel.
Joan went to Jersey Shore High School.
She attended Common Place Church, Lock Haven.
Joan enjoyed playing Bingo and reading. She loved spending time on the porch with her friend, Sarah.
Surviving is her daughter, Barbara (Carl) Wensel of Mill Hall; a son, Donald Kinley, Jr. of Mill Hall; a brother, John (Sheila) Hamel of New York; a brother-in-law, Emil Melnik of Indiana; five grandchildren: Shana, Casey, Kaeleigh, Kyleigh and Kaelob; and three great grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Kinley and two sisters, Jane Melnik and Mary Hamel.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 25, 2021 at 2 P.M. at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, Pa 17745 with Pastor Chad Long officiating. Burial will follow at Salladasburg Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 12 Noon until the time of the service.
