Joel E Weaver

Joel E. Weaver Sr., of Lock Haven, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday September 28, 2022 at the age of 90 at Haven Place in Lock Haven.
Joel was born December 14, 1931, at their family farm in East End. He was the son of the late James and Elsie (Kramer) Weaver. He graduated from Lock Haven High School in 1950 and married the love of his life, Mildred Marie (Yost) Weaver on October 2, 1953. They were happily married for over 65 years until her death on April 5, 2020.
Joel was a family man who devoted his life to the church, his wife, and family. He worked at Piper Aircraft for close to 30 years. He was a faithful Christian who devoted his life to serving the Lord and was an active member at the Walnut Street Church of Christ in Lock Haven.
Surviving are two sons, Joel (Shelly) Weaver Jr. of Ocala, FL, and Mark (Darlene) Weaver, Lock Haven; one brother Greg (Kathi) Weaver, Williamsport; two grandchildren Nicole (Ryan) Monoski, Lock Haven, and Mark Weaver, Catonsville, MD; and two great grandchildren: James and Sara Monoski.
Joel was preceded in death by his wife Marie, his parents, a sister Carrie (Darrell) Bolin, and a brother Butchie Bryerton.
Family and friends will be received at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, 231 High Street, Flemington, PA 17745 on Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral at 12:00 Noon. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Russell Moldovan from the Blanchard Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven.
Memorial contributions in Joel's name may be made through the funeral home to the Walnut Street Church of Christ or mailed to the church at 714 West Walnut St., Lock Haven, PA 17745.
