John W. Hunsinger

John W. Hunsinger, 72, of Lock Haven, passed away Friday, July 22, 2022 at UPMC Williamsport Hospital.
Born September 7, 1949 in English Center, he was the son of the late Jacob D. and Sarah Rhine Hunsinger, Sr.
John was a 1968 graduate of Lock Haven High School and a Veteran of the United States Army.
He retired from Lock Haven University after over 30 years of service.
John was a talented woodworker and enjoyed attending craft shows as a vendor.
He is survived by his companion of 26 years, Doroth Schwab of Lock Haven; a daughter, Bobbie Jo Hunsinger of Lock Haven; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence and Jacob D. Hunsinger, Jr.; and three sisters, Mary J. Rafter, Sarah Jane Hunsinger and infant, Francis Hunsinger.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 11 A.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on the day of the service from 10 to 11 A.M.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
