Kathleen Irvin Obituary
Kathleen F. “Kate” Irvin, 94, of Lock Haven passed away Monday, February 1, 2021 at The Williamsport Home. She was the daughter of the late George and Loretta (Lovett) Buries.
She was preceded in death by her brother, George Buries and her sister, Mildred Kinley.
Surviving is her brother, Leo (Ethel) Buries as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Kate began working at Wolf Furniture Store as a teenager and remained employed there until her retirement.
After retiring, she moved to Deerfield Beach, Florida. She was a member of the Ladies Axillary of the Elks Lodge and volunteered at the local hospital.
In 2019 Kate moved back to Pennsylvania, residing at Heartland Retirement Personal Care Home, Woolrich, PA. Kate was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Dogwood Garden Club, Lock Haven, PA.
Burial at Saint Mary’s Cemetery will be at the convenience of her family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kate’s name may be made to Lock Haven Catholic School through the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, Pa 17745.
