Louanne R. Glasgow, 70, of Mill Hall, passed away Friday, March 27, 2026, at her home.
Born June 26, 1955, in York, she was the daughter of the late Robert K. and Roberta Glasgow.
Louanne graduated from York Suburban High School in 1973, where she was a member of the school band. She went on to attend Lock Haven University, where she found her home in Clinton County.
She was a veteran of the United States National Guard and dedicated many years of service as a social worker with the Clinton County Office of the Aging until her retirement. Later she worked for Lowe's and continued to get together with the Lowe's girls for monthly dinners which she so enjoyed.
Louanne was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church in Lock Haven. She had a lifelong passion for music and, in her earlier years, played the piano and flute for local bands. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching baseball, especially the Philadelphia Phillies. Louanne found great comfort and happiness in the outdoors and loved watching the wildlife around her home along Bald Eagle Creek.
She enjoyed gardening, visiting Scotland, and especially laughing. She was a talented cook and really enjoyed hosting. She loved to feed her people. No one left her gatherings in a bad mood. Louanne loved her Fur babies and especially her cat, Lord Grey, and enjoyed watching Westerns on her television.
She is survived by two cousins and her goddaughter, Lauren Dunkle.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Covenant United Methodist Church ("Covenant UMC"), c/o Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745.
