Marcus R. Hill

Marcus R. Hill, a resident of Susque View Home, passed away at UPMC Williamsport Hospital on Saturday, September 18, 2021.
Born November 26, 1944, he was the son of the late Betty L. (McCracken) and Marcus R. Hill, Sr.
He graduated in 1962 from Lock Haven High School.
Marcus was a man who could do anything. As far as an occupation, he worked at different local garages but mainly was a self-employed contractor.
For recreation, he was known as a sharp pool shooter and served as President of the Lock Haven Men's and Mixed Leagues for many years.
He is survived by three sisters: Betty Fernburg, Debra (Carl) Styers and Kathy (Bob) Dershem; two daughters, Kim (Sebastian)Schepis and Tami Stabley; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Marcus was the best brother anyone could ask for. We will miss him forever. For all of us who loved him, his memory will live on.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 3 P.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 1:30 P.M. until the time of the service.
