Mary Meyers Obituary
Mary L. Meyers passed away peacefully on August 29, 2021 at Susque-View Home at the age of 92. She was born on October 27, 1928 in Lock Haven, a daughter of the late Wilson and Hazel Miller of Marsh Creek.
On July 29, 1949, Mary married Gordon Meyers, who preceded her in death in 2004. She was also preceded in death by a son, Joe Meyers. She is survived by two sisters, Eva Woomer of Howard and Frances Mansell (Jerry) of Belleville; her son, Michael (Jann) Meyers of Lock Haven; three grandchildren: Michael (Becky) Meyers of Latham, NY, Christie (Nick) Thomas of Norfolk, VA and Ryan Chapman of Mims, FL; and three great grandchildren: Macey and Sam Meyers and Sophia Thomas.
Mary enjoyed reading and watching all sports on television; but she most enjoyed her visits from family, especially her great grandchildren: Macey, Sam and Sophia. She also enjoyed visiting with her long-time friend, Suzanne Meyer.
Per Mary's wishes, there will be no services. A private committal service will be held by the family at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.
