Pauline “Sis” B. Winters

Pauline "Sis" B. Winters, 102, passed away Monday, August 3, 2026.
Sis was born December 4, 1923 in Lock Haven to the late Kathleen Margaret (Downs) Fravel and Karl Francis Fravel.
Sis graduated from Lock Haven High School in 1942 and worked at Sylvania during WWII.
On April 18, 1946, she married Harry E. Winters at St. Luke's Reformed Church in Lock Haven. Together, they celebrated 62 years of marriage at the time of Harry's passing in 2008.
Sis was a life-long resident of Flemington and was proud to be a "Red-Eye."
She and Harry were avid golfers and were members at Belles Springs for many years.
Sis was a member of St. Luke's United Church of Christ for 80 years.
Sis is survived by her daughter, Barbara (John) Wadeck of Clintondale; daughter-in-law, Candace Winters of Muncy; six grandchildren: Brad (Tiffany) Smith, Allison (Ryan) Smith Bressler, Justin (Lizze) Winters, Jayme (Ryan) Winters McClung, Jason Winters and Jeremy (Wendy) Winters; two step-grandchildren, Krista (Todd) Tilford and Danielle (Derek) Hicks; five great grandchildren: Gannon, Brennen; Jensen, Emilia and Jack; and seven step-great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Harry; son, Jeffrey Winters; infant son, Walter K. Winters; twin brother, Paul "Bud" Fravel; sister, Phyllis Barnhart; and brother, Eugene Fravel.
Funeral services and interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
