Phillip A. Yothers fell asleep in death on May 7, 2020, at Mount Nittany Medical Center, in State College, Pa. Phil was 88 years old. Son of Blanch and Myron Yothers of McElhattan, Pa. Brother to William (deceased) of Carlisle, Pa. In June of 1979 he was married to his wife Patricia, who survives him and lives in Bellefonte, Pa.
He had three children, Phillip A. Jr. and his wife Tina of Beech Creek, Tena Shawley of Castanea, and Mark of Woolrich and three step children. He had 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Phil was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and was known for preaching and teaching the Bible’s message most of his adult life. As the Bible teaches, he is awaiting the resurrection to life on earth soon to come.
A memorial for him will be held via a Zoom meeting, May 30, 2020, Saturday afternoon. All are invited to attend from home. Please call Kelli at 814-699-0133 for further information.
