Shirley M. Guthrie

Shirley M. Guthrie, 86, of Farrandsville, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2026 at UPMC Williamsport Hospital.
Born in Lock Haven on March 16, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Harris L. and Betty Jane Watt Egan.
On July 7, 1957 at Farrandsville United Methodist Church, Shirley married Eugene Guthrie and cherished the 69 blessed years of marriage they shared.
She was a member of the Lock Haven Sons and Daughters of Italy.
Shirley loved shopping and would often be found at Marshalls. She enjoyed the beauty of flowers and liked tending to hers around her home and was always fond of relaxing in a swimming pool.
She is survived by a son, Rick (Tammy) Guthrie of Farrandsville; two siblings, Connie (Fred) Sharbono of North Dakota and Ross (Kay) Egan of Alaska; a grandson, Luke Guthrie of Flemington; and a great-grandson, Gannon Guthrie of Flemington.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 11 A.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 A.M. until the start of the service.
