John Hanna, Sr.

Co-Owner & Funeral Director

John V. Hanna, Sr. was born and raised in Lock Haven.  He graduated from Lock Haven High School in 1977.  He attended Lock Haven University before transferring to the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science where he graduated in 1984.  

John was employed by Koch Funeral Homes in State College, PA from 1985 until 1997 when John and his family moved back to Lock Haven.  In 2002, John became partners with Woozy and expanded the business by buying the Moriarty-Dutcavich Funeral Home.  

John is a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ancient Order of Hibernians, Central Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association and the Lock Haven Elks.

John married the former Suzanne Conklin and they have four boys: John, Jr., Eli, Zach and Trevor.  John Jr. is practicing as a Physician’s Assistant in Lock Haven; Zach is currently a funeral director and Clinton County Coroner; Eli is also practicing as a Physician’s Assistant in Lock Haven; Trevor is currently attending Penn State Dubois.

Zach Hanna is a 2003 graduate of Central Mountain High School.  He attended Lock Haven University before transferring to the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science where he graduated in 2008.  

He began working at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc. and Moriarty Funeral Home & Crematory as a high school student in 2002.

In 2013, Zach became a co-owner of the funeral homes with his father, John.

Following Woozy’s retirement, Zach was elected and began his first term as Clinton County Coroner in January of 2014. 

He is a member of Holy Spirit Parish, Ancient Order of Hibernians, Lock Haven Son’s Of Italy, Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association, a board member of the Keystone Central Foundation and chairman of the Clinton County Child Death Review Team. 

Zach currently resides in Dunnstable Township with his wife, Michele, their daughters, Sawyer and Lennon.

Donald G. “Woozy” Walker is proud to be the only active lifetime Clinton County funeral director. He graduated from Lock Haven High School in 1968.  He attended Clarion University before transferring to the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science graduating in 1973.

Woozy was employed by the James C. Manevale Funeral Home in Williamsport, PA between the years of 1973 and 1988 before purchasing and converting his grandmother’s house in Flemington to what is today the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc.

In 1992, Woozy was elected as the Clinton County Coroner.  After holding the coroner position for 20 years, Woozy retired at the conclusion of 2013.

Woozy is a member of the Flemington United Methodist Church, Central Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association, the Pennsylvania Coroners Association, the Lock Haven Lions Club, Lafayette Lodge No. 199 F & AM, Consistory of the Valley of Williamsport, Jaffa Temple of Altoona and the Clinton County Shrine.  He is a past board member of the Infant Development Program, the Clinton County Big Brothers Big Sisters program, the Clinton County Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame and the Clinton County United Way.

He is the father of two children, daughter Mallory E. Walker of Woolrich, and a son, Curt A. Walker of Royal Palm Beach, Florida. 

Following retirement, Woozy has remained on staff as the Supervising Funeral Director of the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc. and continues to assist in times of need.

Jennifer Eckenroad-Sholley

Jennifer Eckenroad-Sholley

Jennifer Eckenroad is a 2005 of Central Mountain High School.  After graduating she attended Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Intercultural Studies.  In 2012 Jenn began studying at Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, graduating in 2014.  She then served her year long internship with the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, obtaining her Funeral Director License in 2015. 

Jenn began working for the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc. and the Moriarty Funeral Home & Crematory in February 2013.  

She is a member of the Beech Creek Wesleyan Church where she helps lead Worship and sings in the choir.  

Jenn currently lives in Lock Haven with her husband, Dustin Sholley.
